
This course introduces educators to the concept of deep learning and how this might be introduced/applied in their classroom context, within the requirements of the Norwegian Curriculum Framework. Participants will be introduced to the concept of deep learning, with a ‘map’ used to identify the dimensions involved. They will then use a case study to explore what this looks like in practice, and to identify the specific roles teachers and students play in this process. Finally they will apply this knowledge to a planning task to bring this thinking into their own context.
